Studio Mechka is an independent video game developer based in Sofia. The studio created 'Marko: Beyond Brave', a beautifully hand-drawn 2D action-adventure Metroidvania. Inspired by South East European and Slavic folklore, the project places players in the role of Marko Kings on a heroic quest across treacherous, myth-infused worlds, utilizing classic hand-drawn animation techniques reminiscent of iconic European cartoons.
