About
Mariyana is a leading sustainable development expert, academic, and green transformation pioneer with over 12 years of ecosystem experience. She co-founded and leads Cleantech Bulgaria, which serves as the official national hub manager for European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) initiatives, including EIT Climate-KIC, EIT Manufacturing, and EIT Food. In this role, she oversees the implementation of regional business incubation programs, mentoring pipelines for eco-focused startups, and clean-tech acceleration tracks. Additionally, she serves as an associated professor at the University of Finance, Entrepreneurship and Innovation (VUZF) in Sofia, where she co-developed the specialized Master's program in "Circular Economy and Sustainable Management."
