About
Max is a prominent US and European entrepreneur, startup ecosystem builder, and venture capital investor based in Sofia, Bulgaria. A lawyer by training with a Master's degree in International and European Law, he co-founded an online legal services company in Amsterdam, which was successfully acquired in 2011. Moving to Bulgaria that same year, he joined the founding team of Eleven Ventures, one of the earliest institutional tech acceleration funds in Southeast Europe. Over the years, he spearheaded numerous regional ecosystem initiatives, serving as Director for Cross Border Angels and hosting the global Summit Summit series. In 2020, he co-founded Vitosha Venture Partners, a seed-stage venture fund investing millions across innovative CEE startups. He also serves as the Deputy Chair of the Bulgarian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (BVCA)
