About
: Pavel is a prominent finance executive and investment professional with extensive expertise in investment banking, corporate finance, and EU-funded financial instruments. He was appointed to the Management Board of the Bulgarian state-owned Fund of Funds (FMFIB) in November 2022. In this role, he leads the deployment of substantial public and EU co-funded resources, channeling them through financial intermediaries to support SME competitiveness, digitalization, circular economy initiatives, and early-stage venture capital ecosystems in Bulgaria. His previous professional experience includes serving as a financial analyst for a tech startup, working in investment banking for a pan-European financial institution, and acting as a senior manager and advisor on large-scale equity investments and fintech incubation programs. He holds a Master of Science in Finance from Lund University, Sweden.
