About
Milen is a prominent serial entrepreneur turned angel investor and venture capital fund manager who has spent over a decade shaping the Bulgarian startup ecosystem. He holds an MBA in General Management from the City University of Seattle. In 2016, he founded the Bulgarian Angels Club (formerly CEO Angels Club), scaling it into the largest angel investment network in the country. He later co-founded Sofia Angels Ventures, a €13 million pan-European co-investment venture fund backed by the European Investment Fund (EIF) that pairs institutional capital deal-by-deal alongside business angels and family offices. Additionally, Milen spent five years directing the Sofia chapter of the global pre-seed accelerator Founder Institute and serves as an expert jury member for the European Commission's EIC Accelerator.
