About
Shirin is an international non-profit executive, EU project strategist, and prominent community activist specializing in using education and sport to transform lives. She holds a Bachelor's in Sport Management, a Master's in Youth Activities and Sport, and is a doctoral researcher at the National Sports Academy "Vassil Levski" in Sofia. In 2011, she founded Champions Factory, scaling it to include legal international branches in Bulgaria, the UK, Ireland, and Turkey. Over her decade-long career, she has spearheaded and managed more than 150 national, trans-continental, and EU co-funded initiatives (particularly under the Erasmus+ Sport framework) focusing on dual careers for athletes, good governance, women in sports, and youth inclusion. One of her most notable ongoing projects is the "Life After Sport" program, which explicitly mentors athletes transitioning into entrepreneurship and new professional careers.
