About
Dimitar is a distinguished Bulgarian life sciences entrepreneur, deep-tech venture builder, and technology transfer expert. He co-founded and serves as the Chairman of the Health & Life Sciences Cluster Bulgaria, an organization explicitly dedicated to positioning the country as a regional biotech, pharmaceutical, and health-tech center. In addition to his leadership at the BioCluster, he co-founded AI Cluster Bulgaria and Venrize (Spinoff Factory), platforms designed to commercialize university research, eliminate hurdles between scientists and investors, and transform deep-tech intellectual property into scalable market applications. He is also the founder of Micar21, an innovative drug discovery acceleration platform, and orchestrates the annual Spinoff Europa/Spinoff Bulgaria conferences.
